Testing the Kool-Aid

No, I haven't lost my mind. This is NOT a cruel hoax. Yes, I know; I emailed out this very same article; thru my sister site, eResumes4Vips.com Newsletter list last week. But...

NO ONE READ IT! Well, except for 2 subscribers. How do I know? My 'Stats' told me.

How is it that there are 242 subscribers to the eResumes4Vips News, yet open 2 people bothered to open it?

-The Customer is Always Right!

I've consulted with a well-known copyright that admonished: "Andre, it's your own Darn Fault! Of course no one is opening your newsletter...the Headline is totally off."

Thinking back, I'd tend to agree. My headline is kinda like a fresh-baked pound cake
 -- WITHOUT ICING --.

-So Here We Go!

I'm revamping, testing, and twisting my headline(s). Hey, a 100% improvement will give me, 4 subscriber opening instead of the current, 2. Subscribers will see this subject line in their email: eResumes4Vips-News #50 -I Admit, I'm Fat!

Hey, whoever said that running an Internet-based business would be easy? Oh yeah...I DID!

Budget Cuts Coming for Texas Higher Ed

In connection with House Concurrent Resolution No. 159 of the 80th Texas Legislature, Regular Session,
2007, in mid-2008, the Texas Governor Rick Perry, Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst, and Speaker
of the House of Representatives Tom Craddick created the Select Commission on Higher Education and
Global Competitiveness with a charge to draft a Texas Compact that reflects a long-term vision and stepby-
step plan to attain the following goals by 2020:
(1) Educating the population of Texas to levels comparable to the highest performing competitor
states and nations;
(2) Achieving global recognition for Texas public colleges and universities for excellence in their
core missions and for innovations that strengthen the state’s economy and improve the quality of
life for its citizens; and
(3) Serving different regions of Texas in ways that respond to each region’s unique higher
education needs.
